Solar didn’t turn out
the way you expected?

When the bills, equipment, or promises don’t add up, knowing where to start can feel overwhelming. Resolve Scout helps you put the pieces together for a potential attorney referral.

A clear starting point. No promise of a particular result.

Does this sound familiar?

Your concern deserves to be heard.

These are some of the situations you can describe in your application.

01 / PERFORMANCE

Panels, but little help.

The system isn’t working as expected, the installation is incomplete, or you can’t get the installer to respond.

02 / COST

Two bills. More questions.

You’re paying for solar and electricity, or your payments differ from what you understood at the sale.

03 / PROMISES

The pitch and reality differ.

Statements about savings, incentives, or financing don’t match your experience or the paperwork you received.

Want your solar loan or contract reviewed?

Tell us whether cancellation or another resolution is your goal. An attorney would need to assess your documents and circumstances before advising what may be available.

Concerned about a lien or UCC filing?

Include the concern in your summary and keep any related notices. Whether a filing can be challenged or released requires case-specific review. Resolve Scout does not remove liens.

A straightforward next step

From a scattered story to an organized request.

STEP 01

Share your situation.

Complete the application with your contact details, companies involved, a short summary, and what help you’re seeking.

STEP 02

Organize the basics.

We follow up to clarify your request and help identify the documents you may need for a potential referral.

STEP 03

Discuss a potential referral.

With your permission, we can coordinate sharing your application with an attorney. The attorney decides whether to accept a matter and explains any services and fees.

A useful thing you can do today

Keep your solar story in one place.

Make a folder for the records you already have. You can apply even if your paperwork is incomplete.

  • Solar agreement and financing documents
  • Recent solar and utility bills
  • Messages, sales materials, and service requests
  • Photos of installation or equipment concerns
  • Any lien, UCC, collection, or other notices

Start with three lines: what you were told, what actually happened, and what you want reviewed. Add dates when you know them.

Before you begin

Clear expectations.

Is Resolve Scout a law firm?

No. Resolve Scout provides intake organization and referral coordination. We do not give legal advice, negotiate legal claims, or represent you.

Can you cancel my loan or remove a lien?

We can record those goals for a potential referral. We cannot cancel a contract, eliminate a debt, remove a lien, or guarantee that an attorney will accept your matter.

What will an attorney cost?

Any attorney fees and engagement terms are determined by the attorney and should be discussed before you agree to representation. Submitting this form does not hire an attorney.

Should I change my loan payments?

This page does not provide payment advice. Ask a qualified attorney about your circumstances before making decisions based on a dispute.

Do I need to send photo ID or my Social Security number?

No. Do not include those details in this application or in an ordinary email. If identity verification is needed later, the appropriate secure intake process should be arranged.
